Meet The Owner

Hi, I’m Molly the founder of the Body WorkShop Physical Therapy. My goal of this practice is to offer individualized care that empowers women to return to a pain free and confident life.
It was created by a busy Mom that understands the difficulties of navigating self-care with all of life’s priorities. There are many challenges in motherhood, and I wanted to simplify the process of self-care by offering physical therapy services from the convenience of the client’s home. After giving birth to my first child in 2014, I quickly realized how unprepared I actually was for how pregnancy, and the birthing process would change my body. There are so many changes that women go through physically, mentally, emotionally and hormonally during pregnancy and postpartum period that is never talked about. Many women are faced to navigate this time with limited support or knowledge. I formed The Body WorkShop as a means to provide support to the many women with unanswered questions. The postpartum recovery process is a long journey, and I am here to guide women along the way. I always say once postpartum always postpartum.
I specialize in pregnancy and postpartum care, pelvic floor dysfunctions, and breast cancer rehabilitation. I have furthered my education and experience by obtaining a Prenatal and Postnatal Pilates Specialist Certification, Pink Ribbon Breast Cancer exercise specialist certification, KickPink Practioner, FMT RockPods Myofascial cupping certification, and Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehabilitation (FAKTR) certification, which combines functional movement analysis, kinesiotaping, and instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM). I am Pilates mat and apparatus trained through BASI, integrating the fundamental theories of Pilates to my rehab approach. I graduated from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York with a Masters in Physical Therapy.
In my free time I enjoy exploring the beauty of the Adirondacks with my husband and 2 young children. While I have lived in numerous cities across the United States, I hail from a small town in upstate New York. I am is thrilled to bring my expertise and passion to the clients of the capital region providing those in need with the knowledge and tools to return to a pain free lifestyle.
